Anthropic will pitch investors a $30 trillion revenue opportunity
According to the Wall Street Journal the company will present a total addressable market above $30 trillion ahead of its IPO: more than SpaceX’s $28.5 trillion estimate, and about a quarter of the roughly $120 trillion world economy. The figure is built on the full scope of work that AI models could do. The comparison that gives it scale: the 191 tech companies in the S&P 1500 made $2.4 trillion in combined revenue last year, while Anthropic’s own 2028 forecast is $190-200 billion, less than 1% of the market it describes.
