Tesla’s Roadster jump draws comparisons to KITT’s Turbo Boost from Knight Rider
KITT’s Turbo Boost from ’80s Knight Rider just became real.
In Knight Rider, Michael Knight’s talking car KITT used “Turbo Boost” to leap over obstacles. Tesla’s new Roadster, unveiled on October 15, did something similar with SpaceX cold-gas thrusters: it jumped over a row of Teslas and flipped in midair.
Musk says Roadster production starts in 2028.
