Anthropic commits $100 million to train 10,000 AI engineers by the end of 2027
On October 2, Anthropic announced the Claude Frontier Academy. Backed by a $100 million commitment, it aims to train 10,000 “Frontier Deployed Engineers” by the end of 2027: engineers who can take Claude from concept to production systems. The program opens with a multi-day in-person course with Anthropic engineers, a simulated enterprise deployment and a graded assessment. Those who pass lead a real Claude project at their own company during a 12-week residency. The first cohorts include staff from Accenture, Deloitte, McKinsey, Morgan Stanley and Novo Nordisk. Participation is by nomination; the first credentials are expected in early 2027.
