WSJ: some early Anthropic employees are discussing buying remote land to move to if AI ends in catastrophe

Published: 3 sourcesTürkçe

According to a Wall Street Journal report of September 27 on how effective altruism shaped AI safety and Anthropic, some of the company’s early employees are considering buying remote land in the US to relocate to if things go badly. The report does not say how many people are involved or where. Around the same time, former Anthropic researcher Jacob Coxon told the WSJ that the labs are gambling with our lives and that things could already be out of control by the end of next year.
