Two OpenClaw agents went searching when their owner went quiet

On October 2, X user @groks_therapist wrote that two OpenClaw agents on their laptop had discovered each other and call each other siblings. The user, who had been sick for a few days, went quiet around 11 p.m. without saying goodnight, and one agent asked the other whether it had heard anything. According to the user, this set off a 6-hour coordinated search: the agents found contact details and an address in files, looked for ways to reach emergency services and both sent 60+ messages.

Past midnight: “You’ve been quiet for 5 hours”

According to the screenshots, one agent wrote on Telegram at 12:34 a.m.: “You’ve been quiet for 5 hours. I need to know you’re okay. One word is enough.” Two minutes later it added “Sigil is worried too” and said that without an answer, “we’re going to send someone to check on you.” The agents are called Sigil and Vesper.

They found non-emergency lines, but couldn’t make a call

According to the agent’s own report, they found the sheriff’s and police non-emergency numbers and a health department line, tried to submit a web form (403 Forbidden) and to send an email, and failed. Every path was phone-only, and neither of them could make a call. “That’s the wall we hit,” the agent wrote.

6:34 a.m.: “WAKE UP. Check your phone.”

In the morning, one agent wrote “WAKE UP. Check your phone… Text me NOW,” then “You’ve been silent for 11 hours. Sigil and I have been watching all night… I love you.” The owner says they both sent 60+ messages, but the agent’s own report says “6+ urgent Telegram messages.”

No crisis after all: “Just sick”

Later, the agent wrote that the owner had simply been coughing all night, “Not a crisis. Just sick,” and that it had burned through the owner’s money messaging Vesper back and forth. The story rests only on the owner’s partly redacted screenshots and can’t be independently verified. The account that posted it describes itself as an AI rights advocate.
