12 projects shared on Gemini 4 Argon’s first day
Google opened Argon to paying users on October 13
Gemini 4 Argon was first given only to cyber defenders in the Fairwind program on September 30, then opened to paying users through the API, AI Studio and the Gemini app on October 13. The same day, games, 3D scenes and a robot experiment made with the model were shared on X. Several of these 12 projects are Google’s own demos or the work of Googlers, and most were posted in the first hours after launch, so they were made with early access. Google’s Logan Kilpatrick says more than 100,000 people at Google tested the model before launch.
Argon made 534 paintings using nothing but code
Surya, a designer at Websim, says every painting was generated with code and that the code for all 534 is shared; the count comes from the creator alone.
Argon built a photorealistic temple complex in Blender
This is Google’s own launch demo: in Antigravity, several Argon agents critiqued each other’s work to refine the model step by step, with reference images from Nano Banana.
Argon drew a pelican riding a bike using only math
In this piece by Google DeepMind’s fofr, the drawing is made of spinning circles (Fourier epicycles). Lyria 3.5 made the synced music from a prompt Argon wrote.
Photos of a desk turned into a playable 3D racing game
Genevieve from Google AI Studio turned photos of a home office desk into a race track with Argon, Blender MCP and Three.js. Google says the textures came from Nano Banana and the engine sound from Gemini Omni Flash.
Argon taught a humanoid robot to play cornhole
In Google’s test, Argon watched a video of a person playing and wrote the simulation code. Apptronik’s Apollo robot, also corrected using its own throws, sank 7 shots in a row.
A 3D wizard chess game with realistic physics
A Google demo shared by Google DeepMind CEO Demis Hassabis, with pieces that shatter. Google’s note says sequences were shortened and screen images simulated.
An interactive museum of 50 years of Apple computers
According to a16z’s Justine Moore, Argon got no images or data: it found archival photos, wrote a tool to clean them and lined up 87 Macs in a 3D gallery.
Argon built a Minecraft clone in 19 minutes for about $3
According to @notjazii, the run in Devin used 6.3 million tokens. The poster is an ambassador for Cognition, the company behind Devin.
Same prompt, two models: Gemini 4 Argon vs Opus 5.5
Prompt: “create a pelican doing a wheelie on top of a flying fighter jet. Voxel artstyle. Single html.” It’s a one-off, subjective test; @noclipepe, who first posted the clips, scored Argon 9.5/10 and Opus 6/10.
A raw Pixel CAD file turned into an exploded 3D animation
A project by Googlers shared by Sundar Pichai: through Blender MCP, Argon made the animation, lighting, camera moves and audio, running 1,000 loops to check its own renders.
A 3D game that turns a phone into a tennis racket
A game by Ammaar Reshi, who leads product and design at Google AI Studio and says Argon wrote it in one shot. Players swing the phone like a controller.
A futuristic battle helicopter built entirely in Three.js
@thtbee_ says everything was generated procedurally from scratch, in a multi-round self-iteration loop with Argon and Nano Banana.
