Daytona, which builds cloud infrastructure for AI agents, announced a $60 million Series B on October 20 at a $1 billion valuation. The $1 billion figure is the company’s valuation, not the amount raised. The round brings total funding to $91 million. FirstMark Growth led it, with angels including Patrick Collison (Stripe), Tobi Lütke (Shopify), Aravind Srinivas (Perplexity) and Eric Yuan (Zoom). Qualcomm Ventures, Samsung Next and Okta Ventures joined as strategic investors. Daytona raised a $24 million Series A in February.

Daytona provides isolated computers where agents run code, call tools and browse the web. The company says it is the only provider offering Linux, Windows, macOS and GPU sandboxes on one platform. Its environments start in milliseconds, can pause with their state intact and fork into parallel copies. According to co-founder and CEO Ivan Burazin, revenue has grown about 25 times since January. Customers include Meta, Cohere, Snorkel, Writer, n8n and Postman. The money will fund an “agent cloud” that goes beyond the original sandbox product, more compute infrastructure and hiring, which tech.eu says will take place in San Francisco, Croatia and Singapore.
