TypeSafe, the maker of Jev, is in talks at 50 times last week’s valuation
This story was updated after publication (Oct. 9, 2026). Details
The company came out of stealth on September 15 with a $40 million seed round and a model called Jev, at a $200 million valuation. It is now discussing raising more than $1 billion at a valuation above $10 billion. The jump comes from adoption speed: three days after launch Vercel reported Jev as the fastest-adopted model in AI Gateway history, used by nearly 13% of paid teams in the first 24 hours.
