ASML: we sold not a single machine in Europe in the first half of this year
Frank Heemskerk, who runs the company’s global public affairs, said Europe is not investing and no chip plants are being built there. ASML’s earnings reports show Europe accounted for 0% of revenue in the first two quarters of 2026; in 2025, Europe, the Middle East and Africa together were a 1% slice. South Korea was the largest buyer of its systems in the first half, followed by Taiwan and China.
